10% of the first engagement
Calculated on fees collected, not fees invoiced. A further 5% if the same client engages us again within twelve months.
If you introduce us to a team that becomes a client, we pay you 10% of the fees we collect on their first engagement. The terms are short, the same for everyone, and published here in full — including the part about how a referral never changes what we charge or what we report.
The strongest referral is a short email connecting us with the team: write to [email protected] with your contact on CC. If you'd rather share a link, we'll issue you a personal code — anyone who visits through dakara-research.com/?ref=YOURCODE will have it carried into the contact form automatically, or they can simply mention it when they write.
From there it's our normal process: a scoping conversation, then a written proposal with scope, timeline, and price. If we're not the right fit, we say so — to them and to you. Your introduction never changes the price, the scope, or what ends up in the report.
The engagement runs exactly as it would have without you: same review, same evidence standard, same fix verification. We tell the client, in the proposal, that the introduction came through a referral partner who receives a commission from our margin. In this business that sentence costs nothing and is worth a lot.
10% of the fees we actually collect on that first engagement, net of any refunds, paid within 14 days of the money reaching us. Contracts billed in milestones pay out pro-rata as each invoice clears. If the same client comes back within twelve months, the second engagement carries a further 5%.
Calculated on fees collected, not fees invoiced. A further 5% if the same client engages us again within twelve months.
Your introduction counts if the proposal is signed within 90 days of it. One referrer per client — whoever made the introduction first.
Your choice, stated once when you join. We confirm each payout against the ledger, in writing, with the invoice it relates to.
Commissions are paid out of our margin. They are never added to a client's price, and they have no bearing on scope, findings, or severity ratings. We disclose the referral relationship to the client proactively, in the proposal. If any of that ever stopped being true, this program wouldn't be worth having.
